William “Bill” Miksic, Sr. – Passed away peacefully Saturday May 2, 2026 at the age of 95.
Preceded by his beloved wife Delores (née Zellner). Loving father of Sharon (Jim) DuBois, Jill (Don “Lucky”) Dahms, Vicki (Matt) Pietz and Bill (the late Diane) Miksic, Jr. Proud grandpa of Rebecca (Steve) Zeck, Michelle (Scott) Lewiston, Tyler (Alex) DuBois and ten great-grandchildren. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was a sweet, funny, family man that loved to travel. He met the love of his life while dancing at the Eagles Ballroom. He helped to raise his family while he worked as a foreman for 32 years at Allis Chalmers. After retirement in 1981 from Allis Chalmers, he worked at Sentry helping where needed.
During his spare time, he also helped with Special Olympics baseball and bowling and traveling to many places. He was a wonderful father teaching his kids good morals and values and a supportive grandfather.
Visitation will be at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Funeral Service to follow at 11:30 AM.
Entombment at Forest Home Cemetery, 2405 West Forest Home Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Please meet at the Cemetery Office.
