I worked with Bill in IT some years ago and will miss his quiet intelligence. Whatever new IT subject I brought up, he already had some knowledge about it to share, and did so in a friendly, helpful manner. While the young, newer hire would go home right at quitting time, Bill would still be there, plugging away to complete the job and make someone else’s life easier. He was just a good, kind and decent human being that was enjoyable to be around. My condolences to Jeanne and his daughter, whom I always heard referred to as “Katie” back in those days. He will be missed.
