Virginia Marie Schrubbe, 82 of Wauwatosa, WI., died Monday, April 17, 2023 at home. She was born on January 24, 1941 to Earl and Marie Boese in Milwaukee. After graduation from Washington High School, she married Earl Schrubbe, also of Milwaukee. She was employed by Milwaukee Biscuit (later Tree of Life) for many years. Virginia is best known for her love of her family, passion for hiking with her woman’s group, love of butterflies and beautiful knitting.

She is survived by her three children, Mark (Kathy) Schrubbe of Wauwatosa, Marian (Ron) Ingersoll of West Bend and Chris (Sheila) Schrubbe of England. She is further survived by her brothers, James (Terri) Boese, Tom Boese, Paul (Rita) Boese, and sister-in-law, Lee Boese. 4 grandchildren: Rachel (James) Clemons, Adam Schrubbe (fiancé Erin), D’Artagnon Ingersoll and Victoria Ingersoll. Great-grandma to Vincent and Tali. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Earl, brother Roger, and brothers-in-law John, Herman, Harold and Carl Schrubbe.

Memorial Gathering Thursday, April 27th at Krause Funeral Home,  21600 West Capitol Drive from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM. Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.
