Watch TributeVictoria L. King found peace on November 5, 2024, at the age of 69.
Born in Arkansas to Rev. Wilbert C. King and Athray J King. Victoria received her spiritual foundation as a Christian from her father. She received her education in Chicago, Illinois, where Vicky went on to become an entrepreneur, and a well-known celebrity hair stylist, for 40 plus years as (VICKYDUMAHAIR/GLAMAH). Vicky was a breast cancer survivor who was also a nonprofit owner (Taken it to the Streets).
Victoria became a mother while still young herself. Life did not always give her abundance, but she made the best of what she could. Her strength and tenacity were gifts to us, her children, who grew up witnessing a woman determined to carve her own path lead by God. She taught us invaluable lessons about self-reliance and the importance of living authentically.
Vicky was a woman whose spirit embodied freedom. She lived her life boldly, Unapologetically, and always on her own terms. Her journey was one of resilience and fierce, independent, a path she walked with courage all on her own.
