Watch TributeVeronica Catherine Spencer (Toth), was born on October 28, 1931. Called Home to our Heavenly Father on February 20th, 2024 at the age of 92. Reunited with her adoring husband William E. Spencer of 58 years. Veronica was born in Armstrong Creek, WI in a log cabin to Hungarian immigrants, Frank and Julia Toth. She had a happy childhood with her five siblings on the farm, fondly telling tales of picking chokecherries and making jams.
After she graduated from school, she moved to Milwaukee and landed herself a job working at P&H. During a girls night out she would meet the love of her life, Bill Spencer. Bill knew the moment that he saw her that she was the one for him. They were happily married soon after.
Veronica was a strong, selfless mother and loving wife who dedicated her life to her family. She loved cooking and baking, always trying new recipes and perfecting her own. When she wasn’t baking, she would be out in the garden tending to her plants or she could be found sewing or trying a new craft. She would eventually obtain her beautician’s license and operate a salon at Capitol Court Mall with one of her daughters.
Veronica was the loving mother of Barbara Spencer, William Spencer II, Deborah West and Susan Kubisiak. Proud grandmother to Matthew (Cassandra) and David Astemborski (Krista); Christopher (Rachael), Bradley (Rachel Zhang) and Daniel (Stephanie) Spencer; Rebecca (Jake) and Lauren West; and Ryan (Emily), Andrew (Beth), Brittany and Bradley Kubisiak. Great grandmother to Eli, Lily, Madison, Autumn, Macy, Emily, Bella, Natalie, Alison and Darren. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Spencer, siblings Rose Klarin (William), Fred Toth (Germaine), Julia Ruka (Alfred), Albert Toth, Elizabeth Smith (Ronald), and her grandson, Bradley Kubisiak.
Veronica will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, and always putting others before herself. Her presence lives on in the lives that she touched; never to be forgotten. She now finds herself in the presence of Father God, safe, secure and eternally loved.
Visitation will be held from 9:30AM to 11:15AM on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield. Funeral service at 11:30 AM. A burial to take place immediately following the service at Highland Memorial Park.
