In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association.

Passed away peacefully on February 24, 2018 at age 88. Gone to heaven to be with his beloved wife, Kirsten and son Paul. Loving father of Karen (Michael) Moore, Bjorn Ellingson and George (Sharon) Ellingson. Survived by his sister Darlene (Carroll) Dahl, relatives and friends.

Vern was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years at American Motors then Chrysler as an electrician. Vern was an avid skeet and trap shooter, along with being a motorcycle enthusiast.

Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield  on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 pm. Celebration of life at 6:00 pm. Private family interment to be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
