For years I would hear my buddy talk about, talk to his Aunt Vernell. At times he would put her on speaker phone & we’ll all chime in on something & she’ll make it hilarious. The first time I met her, Tina & Jerome it felt like I knew them all my entire life. Vernell is a special soul & very funny. I have this photo of her & I where we have the biggest smile on our faces & I don’t smile much but if you knew Vernell you know she said something beforehand that’ll make you laugh. She was a real one & will be missed.

My Aunt Vernell was probably one of the REALEST women I knew! She was funny, beautiful, and loved to have a good time! She was one of the cool aunties and I am so GRATFEUL I had the pleasure of making memories with her. Although I wasn’t able to spend a lot of time with her as an adult, I always loved her dearly.
