November 18, 2016 We will be celebrating Thor's life on the 50th anniversary of his birth on Sunday, November 20th. We will tour the Milwaukee Art Museum where he spent many hours in his teenage years. Join us around 2 pm. I decided to look him up to thank him, I had no idea he had passed away. He was so kind and talented and above all, a young teacher that wanted to find the artist in all of his students. I will always remember him. He was THE teacher with the greatest impact on who I am and I'm grateful. God bless share January 2, 2016 Starting a new year without Thor is strange. Sam was on dialysis and received a kidney shortly after the school year began. Mr. Dettwiler made it possible for Sam to stay in the class and participate with a modified curriculum. Not every teacher was as understanding and flexible as he was. Sam enjoyed his classes and he will be missed greatly. I am so sorry for your loss.
