Passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023, at the age of 80.

Preceded into eternal life by his parents: Jerome and Agnes Zabkowicz; sisters Christine Sardina and Monica Domach, brothers Paul and Gregory Zabkowicz, mother-in-law and father-in-law Dorothy and George Hernigle. Loving husband to Georgene (nee) Hernigle. Dear father to Mark Zabkowicz. Dear grandpa to Logan Zabkowicz and Dominic Kroll (Rose Peace) and cherished great granddaughter to Reiki. Dear brother to Patricia Renfrew (the late Alan) Phillip (Jake) (Providence) Martin (Bonnie). Dear brother-in-law to Christine (Ken) Weikum, the late Sharon (Tom) Appel, the late Cynthia and Kim Bernhardt, Kathleen (the late Ronald) Witt, the late Gary (Angela) Hernigle, Donna (the late John) Otto, Glenn (Laura), the late Greg Hernigle, Gail (Chris) Lee and Todd Hernigle. Further loved by many nieces and nephews, family, and countless friends.

Tom was an outdoor person who loved to help people with grass cutting, shoveling snow, working on cars and other projects. He enjoyed starting up the wood burning stove in his garage and having a beer or two (Blatz Light) with neighbors and friends.

With tears in our eyes and love in our hearts…..Until we meet again Dear Tom (Grandpa) (Zabo) YOU WILL BE MISSED!!!

A Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, on Monday, January 15, from 4:30 PM – 6:45 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM.
