Thomas Mark Stueckroth “Tommy”, loving son, of Mark and Amy Stueckroth (nee Kis), cherished brother of Emma, Ellie, and Heidi, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the age of 24. Tommy is survived by future brother-in-law, Ryan Lakin, and girlfriend of 3 years, Jennifer Pierce. Loving Grandson of Vondell Kis, Ruth, and Bill Stueckroth. Tommy loved his family and we want to mention each of them briefly by name, because they all meant so much to Tommy. His Aunts: Karen, Barb, Sandy, Holly, Anne, Sheila, Dawn, Noel, and Mary. Uncles: Tom, Brian, Dave S., Dale, Matt, Tim, David L, and Serge Carre.
Cousins: Joe, Nicole, Kendra, Katie, Ben, Sam, Elizabeth, Anna, Pete, Tim, Chris, Melissa, Sabrina, Mindy, Lisa, Mandy, David, Stephen, Eric, Nik, Hannah, Will, Timmy, and Rich. Further survived by many other relatives and friends.
Proceeded in death by Grandfather, Norbert J. Kis, and Uncle Patrick Linskens.
Tommy attended Brookfield East High School where he participated in the drumline and was an assistant football manager. He graduated from Concordia University of WI in 2020, where he was a proud member of the football team as the football team equipment manager. While hoping to land a job in sports management, Tommy worked at Alro Steel, saving money, with the goal of buying a house.
Tommy overcame a serious illness as an 8-month old infant and lived his life with a tracheotomy and was ventilator dependent during sleep. Tommy was an inspiration to everyone he knew, because he never complained about his health circumstances, worked hard, and accomplished everything he set out to do. Tommy had a passion for life, family, and sports. He especially loved the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Brewers. He loved playing cribbage, X-box, and spending time in Destin, Florida on family vacations.
Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53072, on Sunday, August 22, 2021, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Mass will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Parish, 18255 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53045, on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 11:30 AM. Please enter St. Dominic’s using the South, Parish Drive entrance to the church.
Tommy was a positive, upbeat, soft-hearted, and fun-loving person who loved his life, family, and friends! He was taken from us too soon, but had a beautiful, happy life and was loved so much. We will all miss his smile, silliness, and his hugs.
