Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2023 at age 78. Preceded in death by Paternal Grandfather; Jack Bonds, Paternal Grandmother; Sallie Bess Weddle, Maternal Grandfather; Sam Taylor, Maternal Grandmother; Laura (Pa-pa Tom) Jones, Mother; Alice Taylor-Johnson, Father; Ernest Dickerson, Son; Thomas Lewis Caldwell, Brothers, Earnest T. Dickerson “Bo”, Johnny, Samual Dickerson “Sam” and Leonard Dickerson, Sisters; Ernest Lou Hall, Laura Pullen, and Josephine Hopkins;
Thomas is survived by “His Shelia”, the love of his life, loving children; Jayleah (Keith, Sr.) Caldwell-Burs, Msgt. Martigo J. (Lorraine) Caldwell, Tamara (Marcus, Sr.) Caldwell-Reed, Raytrell L. Caldwell, Jackie Washington and Natalie (Danny) Smith. Thomas will be missed by his grandchildren; Tyrome, Alexis, Jayla, Dont’e, Keith, Jr., Jayleah, Jr., Briana, Anecia, Tagina, Curtis, Naima, Delany, Marcus, Jr., Tamar, Thomas, Jr., Aaliyah, Kentay, Jaylen, Raytrell, Jr., Jaylen, Jr., and Zoey. Great-grandchildren; Kai, Raymond, Kristopher Jr., and Xander, Naomi, Raytrell, III, and special GG baby Chase. siblings; Kenneth, Pearl and Faye as well as other relatives and friends.
Thomas worked for Ladish Company and later worked in transportation. He loved to drive and was never bothered to give rides to his children and grandchildren. Thomas enjoyed going to the horse races and seemed to pick the right horse more often than not. He took pride in his garden and his tomato plants.
Visitation Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin from 2:00 PM – 3:45 PM. Funeral Service at 4:00 PM.
