Terry worked as an ICU nurse for over 25 years beginning at University Hospital in Madison, WI and then at Prohealth ICU in Waukesha. After his retirement from nursing, he worked in medical sales with Baxter International Healthcare until his final retirement in 2016.
Terry was also a talented baker and his cinnamon rolls were a requested favorite. He had also worked construction and it seemed he was always working on a project around their home. Terry married Sally Good in 1996 and along with her two children. Kyle and Sarah. they built a life together. He loved boating and taught the kids to waterski. Together they traveled to the kids musical performances and horse shows. Terry was loving and supportive of his family and enjoyed traveling and hanging out with them.
In 2009 Terry underwent back surgery which sadly left him confined to a wheelchair. Despite his many physical ailments, Terry maintained a positive attitude and always put everyone else’s needs before his own. He made those he loved feel safe and protected with his kind words and generous nature. He loved his children and grandchildren and his face lit up when they were with him. His dogs ran a close second to the children, however, and he enjoyed their company and watching them play.
