Susan Marie Mlodzik, age 73, of Franklin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Born on April 24, 1951, to Edward and Geraldine Wiza, Susan lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and a passion for creating sweet treats.
Susan was a devoted wife to Robert and a loving mother to her son, Steven (Angela). She cherished her role as a grandmother to Brody and loved traveling up-north to visit him, creating precious memories together. She was a cherished daughter to Edward and Geraldine and a dear sister to Michael and Randy.
Susan found joy and fulfillment as an avid baker and candy maker. Her creations were not only delicious but also made with love, a reflection of her generous spirit. Susan had a deep compassion for others, especially the elderly, and always looked for opportunities to offer help and support. She especially loved the holidays, with Christmas holding a special place in her heart. She had a wonderful love for the holiday season and found immense joy in bringing happiness to others through her festive spirit and thoughtful gestures. Throughout her life, Susan maintained a remarkably positive attitude and faced every challenge with unwavering optimism, never letting anything truly get her down. To know Susan was to feel like family. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel welcomed, valued, and loved. She was truly a saint on earth, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin 53151. A service celebrating Susan’s life will follow at 6:00 PM.
