Susan Kerber (née Flower), age 78, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., surrounded by her loving family.
Susan was a devoted and incredible mother to her five children: Josh (Natalie), Nick, Zack, Adam, and Cassie (Mac). She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Nick, in 1996. Her family was her greatest pride, and she poured her heart into each of them.
She shared nearly 55 years of marriage with her husband, William (Bill) Kerber—a partnership filled with unique love, laughter, and a little bit of fire. As her family lovingly says, she gave him hell, but they loved each other until the very end.
Susan was a cherished grandmother to Alyssa, Hannah, Kaitlin, Betsy, Ella, and Max, who brought her endless joy. She was also a proud and loving aunt to Larisa (Chad), Joe (Jackie), Ashley (Josh), and Nate (Michelle), and a great-aunt to Cadence, Courtney, Evan, Sawyer, and Cora. Sue was also a loving sister to her brothers and their spouses – Matt (Debbie) and Scott (Laurie).
She was a loyal and treasured friend to many, especially Cindy and Linda, whose friendships meant the world to her.
Susan found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—shopping trips, a little time at the casino, watching her favorite soap operas, listening to Chris Stapleton, crafting, sewing, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She will be remembered for her strength, her sarcasm, her big heart, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private family burial will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
