In Loving Memory of Somanchi Venkata Subbarao

With profound sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved father, Somanchi Venkata Subbarao, on May 2, 2025, at 11:45 PM. A devoted husband, father, elder brother, uncle, and grandfather, he was the foundation of our family—our guiding light, our source of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love.

A pioneer and a self-made man, he was the first in his family to transition from farming to AGM Airports Authority of India, paving the way for many who followed. His work took him across India—from Delhi and Bombay to Chennai and Hyderabad—and around the world, where he left a lasting impact on colleagues, friends, family and communities alike.

He was a man of intellect with insatiable curiosity: an avid reader, a skilled debater, and a passionate observer of relationships, politics and cricket. He had a gift for meaningful conversation, always eager to listen, learn, and to share. His presence was grounded, his joy infectious, and his ability to truly live in the moment was something we all admired.

At his core, he was a family man. Across five generations, he nurtured relationships with purpose and care—serving not only as a father figure but as a mentor, friend, confidant, an advisor, a motivator, a sounding board, a reservoir of unconditional love and unwavering source of support. He embraced his responsibilities with joy, never burdened by them, always showing up when it mattered most.

His vibrant spirit and zest for life continue to inspire us to age with grace and purpose. Though his absence leaves a deep void, we take solace in knowing he departed on his own terms—fulfilled, content, and surrounded by love. He lived a life of intention and left behind a legacy that will echo through generations.

Funeral Service with Celebration of his life will be held on May 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, in accordance with Hindu-Vedic traditions.
