Loving wife of Rick Kruse. Cherished daughter of Steve and Donna Mather. Thoughtful sister of Wade (Carrie) Mather. Proud aunt of Lucy and Henry Mather and Rylan and Finley Baker. Caring daughter-in-law of Robert and Diane Kruse. Sister-in-law of Samantha (Dusty) Baker. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

In her life she strived to help others and continues her legacy by giving to multiple families through her donation of life.

Gathering to take place from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Krause Funeral Home, New Berlin, Wisconsin.

I am so sorry for your loss. I spent EARLY Tuesday and Thursday mornings with her; coaching her in my swim class. She loved being in the water, and she was a joy to have in class.

My prayers go out to her loved ones and all of the lives that she touched. I recently commended her for being such a great advocate for one of the girls she had been working with. She will be truly missed. She deeply cared about helping youth and families and it was proven in her work ethic. May God be with you.

Sorry for your loss. I knew Stephanie 6 years ago in Recovery. She made feel welcome when first moved to Milwaukee. I very heartbroken when heard about the fatal accident. I got done seen her couple Tuesday ago. I didn't it wouldn't last time. I will deeply miss her. Love David

Stephanie was always friendly and had great fashion style. I'll miss her presence at swim class. My thoughts go out to her family and friends for the loss of such a caring person.

I was a friend and constant supporter of Stephanie at the clinic. We encouraged each other, cheered each other on...and became friends. She was always dressed so trendy...with the best nails. :) I loved hearing how proud she was to start biking again (and how lucky she was to get a new bike after hers was stolen). We were all lucky to have her in our lives. To her family, thank you for sharing such a lovely human being with us all. To her husband, she loved you so much and talked about you all the time, even those of us that don't know you, knew you. Sending so much love~

Stephanie was such a personal hero of mine. A great leader, a great friend, and overall joy to be around. Words cannot express the level of care I had for her. She will continue to live in my heart.

Stephanie was a shining star and will forever light the darkness. I am honored that she was part of my life and I will miss her terribly. My deepest sympathies go out to Rick, Donna, Steve, and the rest of her family.

Stephanie gave me my first job at Custer High school in Milwaukee. She was a force, smart, concerned for the students well being, invested in their success when the system had deemed the school done. This was in 2010. Every job I’ve had since, Stephanie has served as a reference. The students really took to her. She was a mentor to them, helped them in ways that others were unwilling to. She will be missed. A truly wonderful human being. Thank you Stephanie, for your life has impacted many including mine. You may no longer be with us, but your legacy lives on through the hearts and minds of the youth, now young adults, you have inspired and served. Thank you, forever grateful for you.

Stephanie impacted my life from the start. I met her first day of cheerleaders tryouts freshman year. And she has NEVER failed yo spend me a birthday message or have ever pushed me to be better.

You had such a love for life!!! Fly high you will be missed. RIP Stephanie ❤️

I'll forever be grateful for your constant encouragement, cigar bar meeting shenanigans, morning coffee with our peeps and for the beautiful light and love you constantly put out into this world. You were one of a kind , and somehow it is comforting to know parts of you will live on in others. My deepest condolences to your wonderful husband Rick, your parents and the rest of your family.

I am lucky to have known you. Others are as well. You left this world a better place, the most any of us can do.

Hi. I knew Stephanie through work. Just two weeks ago we were attending a zoom meeting for a youth on my case load and now your gone. A life was taken way too soon. You will be missed by anyone who had a chance to work with you like I did. You left an amazing legacy with the youth you worked with and helped change lives for the better.
