Born on September 26, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, Sharon grew up in the city that shaped her vibrant spirit, strong character, and deep appreciation for art and beauty. She was known throughout her life for her warmth, strength, and creativity.
For 44 wonderful years, she was the devoted wife of Warren G. Hatch. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting companionship. Sharon was a loving mother to her daughter, Heather Sharon Ricciotti, son-in-law, Joe, and an adoring grandmother to her three beautiful grandsons—Vincent (11), Owen (9), and Lincoln (5). Her family was her heart, and she cherished every moment with them.
An avid painter and extraordinary artist, Sharon brought beauty into the world through her creativity. She loved beautiful things and had an impeccable sense of style—always dressed with elegance and grace. A beautiful woman inside and out, Sharon was known for her kindness, generosity, and radiant presence.
She lived in Waukesha, Wisconsin, but spent many happy years in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, where she made lifelong memories and dear friendships. A devoted animal lover, Sharon especially treasured the companionship of her three small dogs, who brought her daily joy and comfort.
Sharon is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Mary Belson; her father, Peter Gianos; and her brother, Jerry Gianos. She carried their memories in her heart, and is now reunited with them in peace.
Her presence was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will be a light that continues to shine.
A private family service will be held to honor her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sharon’s memory to a charity close to your heart.
