Sandra Marie Huse (née Stougaard), 81, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, entered her eternal home with her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2026, in Madison, Wisconsin, surrounded by her loving family.

Sandra was born on June 3, 1945, in Racine, Wisconsin, to Chris and Ethel Stougaard. She dedicated her career as a Medical Technologist, caring for others with compassion and quiet professionalism. More than anything, however, she devoted her life to caring for her family.

Sandra shared a lifetime of love with her husband, Jack Huse. She was a devoted mother to Neil (Glori) Huse and Sara Huse, and a proud and loving grandmother to Matthew, Emily, and Katelyn. Her family was always her greatest joy, and she faithfully supported them through every season of life with unconditional love, encouragement, and quiet strength.

A faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, Sandra’s Christian faith guided the way she lived. She loved worshiping with her church family and found comfort and hope in God’s promises.

Sandra enjoyed gardening, knitting, playing cards, spending time with family and the many dogs she loved over the years, and trying her luck at the slot machines. She had a gift for finding joy in life’s simple moments and making those around her feel loved.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Ethel Stougaard.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jack; her children, Neil (Glori) Huse and Sara Huse; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Emily, and Katelyn; along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Sandra will be remembered for her gentle spirit, selfless heart, unwavering faith, and lifelong devotion to her family. While she will be deeply missed, her family rejoices in the promise of the resurrection and the peace of knowing she is now home with her Savior.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Gathering from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Memorial Service at 12:00 PM.

I wanted to share my experience regarding Cabbage Dolls in 1983 with Sandy. We had three girls that needed a doll and we left no stone un-turned in our search. Finally the word on the street was that a shipment was due in at Zayres at midnight, so we arranged our night to be in line and waiting along with hundreds of other women. When the boxes arrived we ran and snapped up our treasures and headed home! Success!!! Submitted by Ellen Huse.
