Russell Dennis Kucharski, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on to the Lord on Monday, August 25, 2025, at the age of 85.

A wonderful and loving father to William “Bill” Kucharski, Chongchul Kim, Joanna Kim and Susanna Kim, and a caring grandfather of Anthony, Geneu, Jeremy, Ethan, Julian, Christian and Aerene.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sun (nee Hi) Kucharski and most recently, Boksoon (nee Yun) Kucharski. Also preceding Russell in death were his brother Robert Kucharski and sister Dorothy Dorobialski.

Russell was born in Milwaukee, WI and lived in the Milwaukee area for most of his life.

Russell was a proud United States Army Veteran, being stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado as part of the Second Missile Command. He then helped operate radio station VUNC-B in the Chorwon Valley of South Korea.

Russell worked as a Flame Cutter at Caterpillar Tractor and went on to enjoy a second career as a Water Plant Operator for the city of Cudahy, WI for over twenty years.

Visitation to be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Funeral Service to begin at 6:30 PM.

Interment will be the following Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring St, Union Grove, Wisconsin.
