Ron and I were classmates at St Michael Grade school, he lived only a few blocks from my house. He was not only fun back then, but he already had that gift of gab that many would discover in his later years. Ron was a leader and could be quite sly when he wanted to maneuver the situation his way. I will always remember playing tag with him and another friend Dave Jensen. As we were running around the neighborhood, it often seemed that we had to halt the game because Ron had to stop and talk to one of the girls in the neighborhood that happened to be sitting on her front porch. It took a while to figure out but after a few repeats of this scenario with Dave and myself standing idly on the side waiting until he was done talking to that same girl, we realized Ron had orchestrated the whole thing so he could talk to that girl he was sweet on ....LOL Things were so simple in those days. My wife Michele and I will miss running into him at the Foley Lardner Zoo Picnics. We were shocked and saddened to hear about his passing on our way to the airport but were able to stream in the beautiful service he was given. Please accept our sincere condolences. Ron will be greatly missed.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Also, that I wasn't able to actually go to the visitation at the funeral home. I worked with Ron at Foley and he was always the one that people called or went to when they needed or wanted something. We also had our share of good times after work with a few adult beverages. Good times that I will always remember.

It was a pleasure working with Ron through the years that I was at Foley and Lardner. I enjoyed working with him- if I had problems, I would come to him and he would help me solve them.

You were not only a great Uncle but you were one of my Best Friends and confidant. I will miss the lunches, long phone conversations and all the family memories we used to share. It was pretty cool to have an Uncle that was only 5 yrs older than me. Rest peacefully and you will forever be in my heart. Love you always❤️‍🩹

I will miss having a glass of wine on his upstairs porch and enjoying the view of his beautiful yard. Or sitting by his fireplace in the depths of winter. Endless conversations about everything and laughing the night away. Ron was a genuine friend that leaves a huge gap in my life. I wish I had known him sooner. But then there's never enough time. You will be missed always.

Ron was my co-worker and one of my very best friends for well over 20 years. He took pride in his work and things got done right when Ron was in charge. He was a gentleman with a very witty sense of humor and a loving heart. There was never a dull moment with Ron! He loved to entertain and his favorite pass time was spending time with his friends and family. I was blessed to have recently spent time with Ron and he always made me the most delicious pomegranate martini. CHEERS to you Ron!
