Ann K Ledbetter left a message on February 13, 2026:
To Rollie's family, As Rollie and Shirley's next door neighbors for the past 17 years, we want to express our sincerest condolences. Your parents were among the first to welcome us to the neighborhood and they treated our three kids like honorary grandkids, always remembering birthdays and sending over a cookie plate for Christmas and Easter. Rollie was such a kind neighbor, always watching looking out for us. He mowed the part of our front lawn that was adjacent to his, which was a huge help. He kindly pointed out invasive species of plants in our yard and helped me take care of them before they got out of hand! We will always remember his gentle nature, his patience with the kids when they were small, loud and rowdy, and his daily waves and kindness. Shirley--I am so sorry for your loss. Your love and devotion to each other as a married couple was truly inspirational. Best wishes, Ann & Kyle Ledbetter
