Rodney “Rod” Bochek of Milwaukee, WI, age 69, passed away on September 9, 2025. He is survived by his spouse Susan Bochek (née Gadzalinski), 4 children, daughter Renee Holland (partner Willie), son Jason Bochek (spouse Cynthia), daughter Robyn Bochek, and son Joseph Bochek, and 2 grandchildren, Jin Holland and Kimiko Holland. Rod is also survived by his sister Joanne Surfus (spouse Paul), brother Richard Bochek (spouse Beverly), brother Regan Bochek (spouse Gwen), and brother Rudy Bochek (spouse Kris). He is further survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and aunts. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Josephine Bochek, his brother Roger Bochek, as well as his Father-in-law and Mother-in-law George and Mildred Gadzalinski.
Rod graduated from Menomonee Falls East High School in 1973. He was enlisted in the United States Army Reservists of the Country from 1973 until he retired from service in 2000. He graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He spent most of his career as an Insurance Claims Adjuster. He enjoyed spending time with his wife Sue, his children, and his grandchildren, as well as the many pets he’s had over the years. He was devoted to his family, and everything he did was to make their lives better. In his free time, he enjoyed making wood cutouts and watching movies.
Visitation to be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 PM. Procession to St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, N74 W13604 Appleton Ave Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051.
