What a gift to be able to participate in Uncle Bob's life celebration online. He was larger than life, engaging, and very little (if anything) missed his attention. I chuckled at the person who shared that he never called her husband by his actual name. My dad Gilbert was forever "Gilman" to him and no amount of reminders or clarification ever changed that! :) We have always smiled and laughed because that was simply Uncle Bob. It doesn't surprise me one bit that he wrote something to be shared with us today. In a way, it was his final card to all of us. What a beautiful way to wrap up a rich, colorful, and legacy-filled life.

I'm going to miss my phone calls with Bob every week for the past 25 years. . We've been friends since the 70's when he hired me to be the Coordinator of his Head Injury Program. I love him for his intelligence, his kindness and his humor. I miss him every day.
