Robert Kenneth Weavers, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded with love by all his family, Monday, June 1, 2026.
Robert was born on March 24, 1940, in Sheboygan Wisconsin, to Kenneth & Lucille Weavers, and was raised in Gibbsville, WI, his family’s hometown. He graduated from Oostburg High School in 1958, where he met and began dating Genevieve Weakamp, who would become his devoted wife of 65 years.
For many years he worked for the Ozark airlines which later became TWA airlines as grounds crew. He became a lead Agent with the airlines until retiring. After retiring he worked on a golf course and helped to develop & design the grounds on that golf course until retiring for the second time. Then to stay busy he started his own lawn cutting business until his final retirement. Robert enjoyed the outdoors and keeping busy in his yard. He took pride in his work and his family.
Robert was deeply loved and will be missed by his daughters; Cheralyn Lynott, Wendy Sobczak and her husband Dennis, Gail Balson and her husband Wade, Pamela Frontczak and her husband Robert.
He is survived by his grandchildren; Toni Kraft, Brian Weick (Amanda), Jamie Erickson (Josh), Michael Kernen (Jamie), Justin Kernen (Stephanie), Crystal Zak (DJ), Cassandra Balson, Kari Balson & Hunter Frontczak. His great-grandchildren; Mikayla Fuchs (James), Alexis Pavlekovich, Lorelei Richter (Christian), Aidan Weick, Teagan Weick, Steven Kraft, Claire Erickson, Katelyn Erickson, Kearan Weick, Madeline Erickson, Paxtan Weick, Logan Kernen, Lukas Kernen, Gabby Kraft, Everly Kernen & Liam Kernen. His great-great grandchild; Araya Fuchs. He is also survived by his brothers; Glen Weavers (Kathy), Jerry Weavers (Jill), Dale Weavers (Paula), nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Genevieve Weavers and parents; Kenneth Weavers & Lucille (Weavers) Ludens.
Celebration of Robert’s life will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 4895 South Calhoun Road, New Berlin. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with a Service at 11:00 AM and luncheon to follow.
