Richard J. Wax

Found his peace Monday, December 19, 2016, age 69.  Beloved husband and soulmate of Patricia who preceded him in death in October of 2010.  Loving father of Jessica and Ryan (Becky) Wax.  Adoring Papa of Emma and Madeline.  Devoted son of the late George and Lucille Wax.  Much loved brother in law to Janet (Lipka) Jares and Charles Beaudet.  Proud and loving uncle to Michael Strazzabosco, Mari, and Robert (Kathy) Jares, Matthew and Andrew Beaudet, and many great nieces and nephews.  Preceded in passing by his much loved sisters, Georgiann Beaudet and Rosemary Wax.  Also loved by many other family and friends for his thoughtful insight, sharp sense of humor, and huge heart.

Richard had retired from MRC as a well-known inside salesmen.  He had a love for golf in the years since retirement and continuously worked on his game.  His faithful sidekick Mulligan, was always at his side and brought so much joy to him, even though he wouldn’t admit it.  Richard loved to travel and was an avid reader.  He was also one hell of a baker, and everyone knew it.  He was his granddaughter’s biggest cheerleader, never missing a game or event and could be heard in the stands cheering louder than anyone.  Our lives were better for having known him, and he will be greatly missed and celebrated.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, WI, on Wednesday, December 28, 2016,  4:00 PM-8:00 PM. Vigil at 7:00 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM, at Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 6924 West Lisbon Avenue, Milwaukee, WI. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
