Mel and Amy Ellenwood left a message on August 4, 2026:
We are so sad to hear of Dick's passing, and at the same time, we are so thankful that he is in heaven, in the very presence of the Savior he loved. Our family has been cared for and loved by Dick and Carolyn for years - supporting us as we serve on the mission field, but so much more than that. Dick and Carolyn opened their home to us on countless occasions, and always made us feel like family. We never left their home without a full tank of gas. That was something that always deeply touched our hearts - Dick saw us. And he cared about the little things ...and those things mattered. And those kindnesses have preceded him into heaven and are treasures he will get to cast at the feet of Jesus. We send much love and are praying for all of you. These earthly goodbyes are so hard. Asking Jesus to make His presence tangible and real to each one of you.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
