In Loving Memory of Renee Slottke
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Renee Slottke on January 17, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on September 6, 1962, Renee brought light, love, and laughter to all who knew her. Her unwavering faith in God and her commitment to family and community defined her life.
Renee was the beloved wife of Tom Slottke, with whom she shared 16 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Desiree Berrones and Nickolas (Brittany) Lee, a loving stepmother to Allen (Michelle) Lee, Jaclyn (Ryan) McKay, Tom Slottke Jr., and Michelle Bottom, and a proud grandmother to Laron Slottke, Kaitlin Slottke, Mikayla Snowden, Logan Berrones, Zion Berrones, and 10 other cherished grandchildren.
Renee is also survived by her sister, Stephanie Wilson. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Sharon and Allen Wilson, and her siblings, Mark Wilson and Cheri Billington, who preceded her in death.
Renee’s career was marked by her dedication and compassion. She was a Surgical Technician graduate from MATC, operated her own daycare service, and served as a Pharmacy Technician for 20 years at Walgreens and Ascension. In every role, Renee’s kindness and work ethic left an enduring impact on those around her.
Outside of her professional life, Renee was full of life and energy. She found joy in sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her family. Renee was the heart of every gathering, hosting events that brought loved ones together. Whether it was a holiday celebration, a simple game night of Yahtzee, or an evening at bingo, Renee’s laughter and warmth filled the room. She was a caretaker at heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. Her selflessness, resilience, and love for her family will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Krause Funeral Home, located at 12401 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151. Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM, with a service at 4:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring Renee’s incredible legacy.
Renee’s spirit, strength, and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will never be forgotten.
