Regina Yvonne Ferrell was born on December 9, 1963 to the union of the late Billy Moore and Annie Moore in Gibson County, Humboldt, Tennessee. Regina celebrated her first birthday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, her family made this their home.
Regina’s education: Benjamin Franklin Elementary, Webster Junior High, and Washington High School, all of which are in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lane College – Sociology Jackson, Tennessee, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Business Management, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Regina worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections as a Probation and Parole officer from 1995 until she retired in 2016. She also was employed by the Department of Treasury/Internal Revenue Service in Franklin, Tennessee and worked there until her passing.
Regina accepted Christ at an early age and was united with Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee, where she was a member of the youth choir and served on the Bereavement committee and helped serve food at the Guest House.
Regina Loved to travel and do the driving herself. Her father was a motor coach operator, that drove all over the United States and Canada. She inherited her passion of driving from him.
Regina started cooking when she was young. Making biscuits that Glynn and Rhonda loved eating. Later, her favorite foods to cook were BBQ ribs on the grill, lasagna, and fried chicken that everybody LOVED.
Regina moved to Clarksville, Tennessee. and united with the Fifth Ward Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Charles Radford. She loved her church family and was very proud of the work the young men were doing. Regina Yvonne Ferrell departed this life on March 29, 2024 and was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Billy Moore.
Regina leaves to cherish her memory, mother, Annie Moore, sisters- Rhonda Moore, Clarksville, Tennessee. and Gloria Blythers, Alabama. Brothers- Harold Glynn (Hope) Moore, Nashville, Tennessee and Charles (Karla) Moore, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. God-Daughter- LaCressa Vaiton, Richmond, Virginia. God-Mother- Lois Cross, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Hooker Funeral Home, 723 Franklin Street, Clarksville, Tennessee.
Additional visitation from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin. Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
