Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the age of 86. Cherished husband of Patricia A. ( Nee Woloschek) for 67 years. Dear Dad of Bryan (the late Barbara) Julie, Christine (Mark) Jacob, and Jeanine (Tom) Schommer. Proud grandpa of Angela Vaughan, Tricia (Ryan) Chorlog, Nicole Grisby, Carmen Julie, Kimberly (Andy) Schutz, Jabin Julie, Ashley (Nathan) Siegmann, Erin (Brent) Derksen, Emily (Nathaniel) Baber, Hannah (Jon) Easterhoff, Carey (Andy) Alsum, Kayla Schommer and Levi Schommer. Great Grandpa of 27 and Great Great Grandpa of Oliver Gray. Brother of Donald (Shockey) Julie and Kathleen (Ray) Ashworth. Further survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 3:00 PM – 5:15 PM. Celebration of Life at 5:30 PM. Additional visitation at the Funeral Home on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Fr. Dennis J. Lewis officiating.

Ray was devoted to his wife and family.  During their 67 year marriage they worked together side by side and built a beautiful family together.  One of Ray’s greatest pleasures in his retirement was enjoying all of his grandchildren. He also had a great love of the outdoors and enjoyed many hours  studying and photographing birds and flowers.

A special thank you to the entire staff at Manor Care, especially Amber and Judy for their kind and compassionate care of Ray.
