Ray Wolf

Raymond D. Wolf passed away on January 19, 2026 surrounded by family.

Ray was born May 16, 1937 in Milwaukee to Raymond and Margaret Wolf. He was the second of three children. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1955 and served in the US Air Force from 1961 until 1965.

Ray married Joan Dixon and they shared 60 wonderful years together. He is survived by his wife Joan, and children Barbara and Allen. He is further survived by his brother Dennis Wolf, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Arlene.

He worked for Bucyrus Erie for 45 years on mining machinery as an electrical engineer. After Ray retired, he became a member of the, Wisconsin Scale Boat Association, WSBA. He enjoyed making his scale model boats and running them at the pond with other members of the club.

Ray loved fishing, golfing, and was a good bowler. He also enjoyed traveling and camping.

A Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM. Memorial Service at 2:00 PM with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, Ray’s family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
