I just saw the obituary just last night and was so saddened for your loss. I loved coaching baseball with Phil and all the boys of Delafield. Extremely fond memories of American legion field. Phil taught me so much.

I was saddened and shocked to hear of Phil’s passing. I worked with Phil at Wheaton Information Services for many years before I was a member of IS and after. He was a kind, considerate individual with a big smile and a heart of gold. He will be missed by many. My condolences to his family.

Our deepest sympathy to Marilyn and family. We enjoyed conversations with Phil during our biking events. He was fun to be with. He as a great neighbor and it was sad to see him and Marilyn move from the Glen. Since we were both in health care we had lots to share.

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Phil’s passing. He was way too young to leave this world. I worked with Phil in the Wheaton IS department. He was a patient teacher, very supportive and tried to make the work fun. The thing I remember most about Phil was his extreme pride and strong love of his family. I heard many stories of his children’s accomplishments including his son’s HS athletics. My husband remembers his perseverance and methodology when picking brackets in the NCAA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT. Surprised he never won the big prize. We pray that God will wrap his loving arms around Phil and bring him peace from his pain and suffering. We also pray that his family’s grief will be eased by the memories of this great man.
Phil & Melinda Neuheisel left a message on June 28, 2023:
Dear Marilyn & family, I (Phil) had the privilege of knowing Phil through his entire Wheaton career, into his retirement, into my retirement, and beyond. We shared many times concerning the escapades of his 3 children & my 4. A good man, sharing his wisdom with me. I can clearly hear his voice telling me during a lunch at McBob's when I had just retired "If you want another root beer, you've earned it." It was in the midst of our conversation that we don't know what tomorrow brings. I am a better person for having known Phil. I (Melinda) find it hard to say goodbye. He always made me feel I was a friend of his too. Not a lot of men can do that. Phil & Melinda Neuheisel

Dear Millazo family, I am feeling such sadness at Phil's death. I didn't know him well, but knew him enough to know how much he loved all of you - really loved you. May you always hold tender memories of him in your hearts. Rheda Schultz
