Peter Henry Lauder passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025, at age 83.

Peter was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years Sheila (O’Neill), as well as parents Harry and LaVerne Lauder, and daughter Colleen Lauder. Loving brother of Patricia (James) Hoth, Michael Lauder (deceased), Colleen (Bob) Logan, Bruce Lauder (deceased), Christine Lauder and Daniel Lauder. Cherished father of Briget (Eric) Carlson, Christopher Lauder, Kyle (Kristen) Lauder, Brittany (Kevin) Pitt. Loving grandfather of Courtney (Terrance) Talley, Joshua Carlson, Kelly Carlson, Barrett (Ryan) Dec, Zoe Lauder, Lincoln Pitt, Charlie Pitt, and Violet Lauder.  Further survived by three great grandchildren, Grace, Cecelia, and Emery Talley.

Peter was born on March 21, 1942, in Rockford, Illinois, and grew up in the Milwaukee, WI. He attended Thomas Aquinas Elementary School and later graduated from Pius XI High School in 1960.  After his schooling, Peter joined Waukesha State Bank in their data processing department. Later, he worked for Marshall & Ilsley Bank. After a long banking career, he went to work for the City of Wauwatosa. Peter retired in 1999 and spent his remaining years at his home on Wind Lake, Wisconsin.

Peter loved to spend time with family and friends, travelling, attending Packer games and car shows, fishing and playing golf.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Pewaukee, Wisconsin on Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 2:00 PM – 3:45 PM. Memorial Service at 4:00 PM.
