Peter C. Economou

Peter C. Economou – Joined his wife, Kathy, in eternal glory on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the age of 89. Loving dad of Christopher Economou, Jennifer (Jeff) Abuya and Rebecca (Brad) Pettit. Beloved Papou of Andrea, Joseph, Daniel (Gabby), Bella, Emma, Aliyah, Grayson and great grandpa of Connie, Remington and Peter.

In his 89 years on this earth, Peter was a man of quiet kindness and genuine goodness. Those who crossed his path could not help but love and respect him, and those who had the honor of knowing him knew him as a funny, smart, generous, godly, humble, kind, and wonderful man. He loved his Heavenly Father, his family, and his country with his whole being. He found his life’s joy in studying God’s Word and sharing it with others. He also enjoyed gardening, took pride in his side business repairing shoes, and was a longtime member of the John Birch Society.

He will be deeply missed, but his family takes comfort knowing that he is rejoicing in eternity, secured by Christ’s ultimate sacrifice on the cross, and that they will see him again someday.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

A special thank you to his son, Christopher, for taking such amazing care of his dad these last years. Because of Chris’s love and sacrifice, Peter was able to live out his life surrounded by family in his own home. His family does not take that gift for granted and is deeply grateful for the peace of mind Chris gave to his sisters.

Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Friday, October 16, 2026, 4:00 PM – 6:15 PM. Celebration of Life at 6:30 PM with Military Honors to follow.

In lieu of flowers, Peter would be honored by memorial donations to PreBorn.com, a cause close to his heart.
