“Pops G.” was my second dad from grade school through high school. I have so many memories of good times with him and the family! He built the first computer I ever saw and played on and was always one of the first to have new technological gadgets; going with him to pick up fish & fries at Houmann’s fish market every Friday night; hard rolls and ham on Sundays; the funny cat sounds he made when talking to the cats; his suspenders; “His Chair” on Carlisle Ave. where he would watch the nightly news without fail; his driving Joy and me ~everywhere~ in that old gray Suburban; fishing and boating; sleeping over at Joy’s, and asking him if he could take us to the grocery store for a bag of Doritos, and we’d end up with an entire cart full of goodies; and of course, all the countless memories of spending family time in Hancock: playing Sheepshead, campfires, Sneaky Pete’s, street dances, philosophizing and “solving” all of the world’s problems…. some of the best times of my childhood. I’m so sorry I can’t be there today, but am sending lots of love to the whole family from the UK. xoxo

Many memories of Uncle Paul's humor, compassion, sensitivity and fun: the infamous lakeside fish boil at the cabin; the family suburban driven to the cabin from Racine covered with hand-written topics for Hancock's 40th; launching his HUGE sailing vessel in Pine Lake; his heartfelt concern for a fawn he found alone in the tall grasses at the cabin; diligently helping get a tangled volleyball net set up for Ben's (or Brit's?) high school graduation party - he didn't give up; and hundreds of memories and images of him with his beloved grandchildren. What a great man.

Will always remember sitting next to my brother Paul, bundled in our sleeping bags, at the famous Green Bay Packer Ice Bowl. He was an awesome person and will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Paul was the BEST fisherman on Patrick Lake; he will be sadly missed by me and by my daughters, especially Debra who Paul held a special place in his heart or her.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
