Patricia Emma (Brandt) Radandt bid her earthly life goodbye on March 11, 2025.
Pat was born August 11, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Henry and Marie (Deml) Brandt.
Pat loved growing up in a houseful of girls. She was the youngest of four daughters and was doted on. Her family lived within walking distance of her schools, Sacred Heart Grade School and St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Bay View, where Pat enjoyed everything social.
After graduating from high school, Pat worked briefly in the office of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance.
On April 19, 1952, Pat married Leland Radandt, the boy she met in Medford, Wisconsin when she was 12 years old while helping out at her uncle’s farm. Pat and Lee spent the next 67 years adoring one another on earth and are now continuing their romance in heaven. Their love and commitment to each other is the greatest legacy they could leave their family.
Soon after they were married Lee joined the Army and was stationed in Pennsylvania where Pat joined him. While there, their first of three children, Mark, was born.
After two years in the Army, the family returned to Wisconsin, where their children Sue and Barry were born. The family lived in New Berlin at the home they moved into when Sue was a baby. Pat was able to live in that home until a year ago.
Pat was an active member of St. Mary’s parish for over sixty years where she served faithfully. Pat crocheted many lap blankets to warm those in need. Many family members have also been blessed with afghans, sweaters, hats, Christmas stockings, etc. created lovingly by Pat’s hands. She was also a founding member of The Couples Club, a group of five couples who enjoyed monthly parties and frequent vacations together.
While her children were in school Pat worked in the office at Woolworths for several years where she enjoyed her coworkers.
We will miss her sense of humor, her love of family and friends, and her perseverance in whatever task she undertook. Pat lived her life with joy and a smile on her face. Her laughter will be cherished.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Marie Brandt, and her sisters Marie (Barney) Perszyk, Lucille (Norman) Weiland, Virginia (Robert) Metz and her loving husband Lee.
She is survived by her children Mark (Erin), Sue Evers, and Barry (Cindy), seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two great-great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews, loving in-laws and lifelong friends.
We would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers at Heritage at Deer Creek in New Berlin and especially Brighton Hospice who loved and cared for Pat throughout her stay.
Pat will always be loved, remembered and missed.
