Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 14, 2016 at age 78. Loving husband of Mary Jane (nee Goettings) for 61 years. I'm so sorry to hear of your family's sad loss. I have known Robin for over 20 years and have heard so many wonderful stories about her Dad. The stories told of a man so very dedicated to his family and of the wise counsel he provided to his daughter. (When she talked about her plans for her house and other things, she so often started with "it was Dad's idea to... " ). May God comfort you in your loss.

Though so sad at the passing of "Mr. Seavers" (as I knew him), I have such good memories of him-caring for Nickie, talking to me when I was at the Seavers home, helping Robin on projects,and having a great sense of humor. May you be at peace remembering he was a positive example, led a productive life, and is enjoying his forever heavenly home.

God’s promise of doing away with death at Isaiah 25:8 which states, “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it.”
