Nancy E Bodendorfer

Nancy E Bodendorfer, age 85, of Mequon, entered eternal rest on August 30, 2026, surrounded by family. Born on July 29, 1941, Nancy lived a life shaped by faith, kindness, and devotion to those she loved.

A verse that brought deep comfort to Nancy and reflects the peace she carried is:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” — Psalm 23:1 This passage speaks of the steady trust and quiet strength that defined her life. Nancy was a devoted member of Christ Alone Lutheran Church (f/k/a Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Mequon), where she served through various church groups including a long-time member of Ladies Aid and offered encouragement to all who crossed her path. Outside of church, she cherished time with family and found joy in bowling and watching stock car racing in Cedarburg.

She is survived by Todd (Leeann) Bodendorfer, Jim (Julie) Bodendorfer, Dan (Rochelle) Bodendorfer and Jill (David) Kurtz. Proud grandmother of Laura (Steve) Ozminkowski, Stephanie (Ian) Kohler, Jeff (Stephanie) Bodendorfer, Alec (Inah) Bodendorfer, Austin (Autumn Vandergalien – fiancé) Bodendorfer, Ryan Kurtz and Maddie Kurtz. Great grandmother of Colton, Carson, and Callen Ozminkowski, Ava Stegall, Evelyn, Olivia and James Bodendorfer, and Declan Kohler. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Neil, and parents Ralph and Evelyn Hahn.

Visitation will be held on September 25, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, at Christ Alone Lutheran Church South Campus located at 10001 North Cedarburg Road, Mequon, WI 53092.
