Mrs. Agnes A. Hemenway

Passed away peacefully on January 30, 2021, at age 93. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Loving mother of Patti (Robert) Lang of Vero Beach, FL; Rev. Rhonda (Rev. C. David) Hainer of St. Mary’s, OH; and Michelle (Kenneth, Jr.) Bigler of Grafton, WI. Proud grandmother of Ryan (Sarah) Lang, Rachel (Harlan) Grant, and Abigail, Zachary, and Mason Bigler; and three great-grandchildren.

Agnes was a retired Elementary school teacher. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of West Allis, WI. She was involved with United Methodist Women, Chaired the Mission Committee for 6 years, served as a greeter, taught Sunday School and Confirmation Classes. Agnes also taught at the Literacy Program and cooked and served meals at the St. Gall’s feeding program. She was a member of the Stella Chapter of the Order of Eastern Stars and the League of Women Voters. In later years, she was a teacher at Kindercare Day Care Center in New Berlin, WI.

Agnes enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Thursday, February 11, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Service at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park.
