I met Mrs. Sipe for the first time I want to say in 2009 when she came to work with my middle school choir. I still remember the song that she taught our choir "Ride in the wind". Because if that experience I took a leap of faith and joined solo ensemble Mrs. Sipe being my voice coach. When I finally made it to high school, of course I joined choir and eventually made it into Sorelle Cantanti, the auditioned choir that Mrs. Sipe taught. However, this was not just a class...we became a family. From singing for state in Madison, to our trip to San antonio, to the weekend retreats...Mrs. Sipe led with a mother's love and knowledge often giving us life advice that I still apply to my own as a 31 year old mom of 2. She was easily to me the most influential woman of my teenage years and I will be forever grateful to have been apart of her life.
