“Max” Left us unexpectedly to be with his Heavenly Father on September 6, 2016, at age 18. Cherished son of Pete and Sandy Pulos. Big brother of Melina Pulos. Beloved grandson of Niovi and the late Clarence Pulos, Lonnie Knautz and Allen Ribbeck. Dear nephew of Maria (Bob), Deanna (Mike), Dena and the late Tom. He is further survived and will be deeply missed by cousins, additional family and many, many friends, including his golden retriever Peyton.

Max was a recent graduate of Kettle Moraine High School, was attending the University of Alabama and was an avid Colts fan.

Gathering will be at Elmbrook Lake Country, 1100 Highway 83 in Hartland, just north of I-94, on Monday, September 12, from 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. It is never easy to lose a child, no matter the age. My condolences to your family.

I will remember Max as an intelligent, handsome guy who was quick to laugh and equally as quick to show empathy. He also had a quiet inner strength that was evidenced by his ability to strut into school in Colts jersey after a loss and stand up to the ribbing from his classmates. He cared deeply for his family and I am certain he is watching over you now from heaven as you go through this difficult time.

My heart breaks for you. May your faith, family and friends sustain you. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to your family. My heart was saddened today by reading about Max in the paper. I remember Max at Magee in my reading groups, in the lunchroom, library, playing football on the playground and around school. He was such a great kiddo with those big eyes, sweet smile and always kindness. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead as you grieve for Max.

Max, my baby, my boy, I love you always. You were honest, smart, trustworthy, and more so knew Christ as your savior. I am so sorry that I did not fix your troubles. You made a place in heaven and were waiting for papouli, because he was so scared to die and you weren't.
