My deepest sympathies to the Radish Family. It was an honor to work with Maureen at St. Alphonsus. She taught by example and was filled with faith especially her devotion to Mary. Her influence changed so many lives including mine. It was Maureen who convinced me to go for my dream job. I know she is looking down from heaven while her light still shines in our memories.

I had the privilege of working with Maureen at St. Alphonsus. I especially enjoyed working with her on Science Fairs and our Religion/ Faith committee. She always gave 100% in everything she did. I’m sure that God welcomed her into heaven with open arms and told her how proud he was of her for all the lives she touched. I also know that Maureen is enjoying her time getting to talk with our Blessed Mother in person. To the Radish family: These last years have been a tough journey for all of you. May you find comfort in knowing how much she was loved and respected on Earth as well as knowing God has wrapped her in his tender arms.

Mrs. Radish was the holiest woman I ever met, and I am so grateful I got to know her. She taught me theology and literature at St. Alphonsus, and her strength, faith, humor, and kindness were never lost on us kids, especially in that impressionable time of life. I look back on Rosary club with particular fondness---Mrs. Radish taught by example, and Rosary club impressed upon us the value of prayer and community. Thank you, Mrs. Radish! My deepest sympathies to her family.

Our hearts are heavy hearing about the loss of Mrs. Radish. She was always serving our Lord with every interaction she had, especially as a teacher. She was an inspiration as she shared her strong faith and her love for God shined through every day. Both of our sons attended St Alphonsus and words cannot express the positive influence she had in their lives. She was the reason our son Joey was able to survive and eventually thrive changing schools coming to St. Alphonsus with extreme anxiety. So thankful for her kindness and patience. We felt she was an angel sent straight from heaven. She was an amazing example to our youth inside and outside of the classroom. She sacrificed her own time to attend a baseball game for both Joey and Johnny as yet another example of how she cared for her students and went the extra mile to make them feel special. I enjoyed every conversation with her, hearing about her family that she was so very proud of. And of course, she always made me laugh! She was a blessing to so many of the St Alphonsus community. It was an honor and a privilege to have had her in our lives. Our deepest sympathies to her family and all who loved her. May you find comfort and peace knowing she is now home. In His name….

Mrs. Radish & the 2015 St. Al’s graduates who participated in Rosary Club in 6-8th grade after our final Rosary Club meeting❤️ Rosary Club is a true testament to Mrs. Radish’s impact. One Wednesday each month, almost every middle school student would gather in her classroom for lunch and then a group of students would lead the Rosary. This was just one of the ways Mrs. Radish shared her devotion to Mary with her students. Mrs. Radish made every student feel confident in their ability to lead a group in prayer. I’m so grateful for the extra time Rosary Club allowed me to spend with Mrs. Radish💜

Mrs. Radish was an amazing woman, full of warmth, grace and humor (which you had to have in order to be a teacher!). Both of my children were her students at St. Alphonsus. Words cannot adequately describe what a difference she made in both of their lives. She had a way of making each child feel special and valued and loved. She was tough on them when they needed it (every great teacher is), because she knew the amazing adults they would become. When my daughter graduated high school, she asked that we send Mrs. Radish an invitation -- and I did, even though I thought "Mrs. Radish hasn't seen us in 4 years. I'm sure she will be too busy to come". But of course, I was wrong. She showed up at our house, with big hugs for both of my kids -- and she sat down with them and wanted to know everything about their lives and future plans. God bless Mrs. Radish -- and I hope this note makes it to her family because I want them to know how exceptional she was as a teacher and leader at St. Alphonsus -- and what a tremendous difference she made in my childrens' lives and the lives of so many others. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. But know that there is a very special angel watching down on us and guiding us.

Mrs. Radish joined St. Alphonsus School when I was in 6th grade and quickly became one of the most influential teachers in my life. She deeply cared about the minds and souls of her students, and I am so grateful for the gift of her instruction, especially for sharing her relationship with Mary with us. My deepest sympathy is with her family and loved ones -- may her memory be a blessing to you all.

Mrs. Radish was one of my favorite middle school teachers and taught me so many lessons applicable beyond the classroom. She was one of the most faithful people I have ever known and was an incredible role model of faith; I will never forget her deep devotion to the Blessed Mother or her constant reminders to “offer it up.” I count myself among the students lucky enough to have had Mrs. Radish as a teacher. Deepest condolences to all those affected by this loss, especially her former students and her beloved family. I know Mrs. Radish is on the fast track to Heaven💜

Mrs. Radish was an excellent teacher and I was so pleased my youngest son, Brian, benefitted from having her in his last few years at St. Alphonsus (2010-11). Her supreme faith, kindness, demeanor, and ready smile made her someone both students and parents were drawn to. I feel like we would have been great friends if we were in the same social circle. Our family’s utmost and sincere condolences go out to James and her entire family at this most difficult time. She was a very special lady!
