Maureen E. Schaff, 80, passed peacefully to glory at her residence on Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was born, May, 14, 1941, to Anthony J. and Marie B. (nee Schmidt) Schaff in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She leaves behind seven brothers and sisters, Glorianne Schroeckenthaler, Yvonne Krawczyk, Robert (Loraine), Susan (Bill) Schlotz, Gerald (Donna), Ronald, June (Michael) Schmitz, many other family member and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rozalind Elz, brother-in-law. Warren Schroeckenthaler and her close friend, Betty Oliver.
Maureen graduated from Rufus King High with some college credits from MATC in Commercial Art. Her career led her to drafting at Marquette Electronics. Here a coworker led her to the Scriptures, and has loved them ever since. She later joined Wooded Hills Bible Church near Hartland where she resided with her close friend Betty Oliver for many years. She also met her close friends, Bill and Laurie Lonski, through the church.
Maureen had a love for animals having pets, Cinders, Kitty, Tiger, and Tammy, her hobbies of fishing and golfing kept her busy!
The family would like to thank the staff of The View of the Pines and Allay Hospice for Maureen’s care during her stay.
Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Friday, April 29, 2022, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Memorial service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society) of Waukesha County.
