My sincerest condolences for your family’s loss. He was an incredibly important mentor to me ever since my time as a student at MSOE (class of 2002). I loved being a student worker in the AE office and seeing his leadership and friendship in action every day. I’ll never forget the time he called me (many years after graduating) to make sure everything was ok after he hadn’t received my annual Christmas card one year. He helped me through a rough career transition and never stopped being a supportive figure in my life. I’m so fortunate to have known him.

Uncle Matt was such a great, funny, generous, and outstanding person. I will miss him very much. He treated my siblings and me to numerous Sunset Playhouse shows, which were all so enjoyable and the best part was sharing them with Uncle Matt. It is comforting that he passed away with his family at the lake cottage; the best way to go for him. I KNOW that Uncle Matt is in Heaven with GOD, Jesus, Carol, my Stepdad Bob, and all his loved ones who passed away before. Prayers for tenderness for the past, comfort and strength now and always for Uncle Matt's family and friends. Hugs. Lisa
