Dear Ones! Dan and I were so very blessed to view and listen to the wonderful funeral service for Mary Ann. Appreciate the words that described May Ann; kind, caring, tender, thoughtful and FUN! Mary Ann was honored and Jesus was glorified. Wise words spoken by the priest who did the service. "The really important things in life you cannot photograph." Wish we could have been there to hug you all. God bless you! Much love, Gayle and Dan

Our friendship began at VU. I recall the story about the "refrigerator" that Mary Ann wanted replaced (colored) when you placed your Valpo home on the market. You said it should remain as it was still working. One morning as she walked into kitchen you said, "you did it didn't you? You prayed & now the refrig conked out. We were able to send quick emails to each other with the words "need prayers" & we obliged each other. She was a special friend. Cherish your memories.

I am so sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing. She was a great person and friend. We met via St Mathias & the nursing home where her Mother and my Aunt lived. We exchanged e-mails for many years but stopped after she had her stroke, which I didn't know about until now. My condolences to John and his family. Shirley Laatsch
