Passed into Eternal Life on August 10, 2016 at age 70. Beloved wife of Emil for 30 years. Loving mother of Dwain (Michelle) Holman, Lisa Holman and Corey Holman. Emil, Dwain and Michelle, Lisa and Corey, thank you for sharing Mary with us. We will never forget the joy she brought to our lives both in the written and spoken words. She sure knew how capture the moment. And, Emil thank you for showing us what love is all about, in caring to Mary’s needs.
I remember a line about someone we love leaving us from Leo Buscaglia, it may not be exact but it went something like;
I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
Emil, that’s what our Mary leaves us with.
May every day bring you more promise, every night more peace and may God bless you all.

My sincere condolences to the Kowalewski family. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much. The Bible reminds us that God sees our pain and grief and has promised that soon "death will be no more."(Revelation 21:4) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our dear loved ones to life again.(John 6:40) Until then, I hope the beautiful memories of Mary and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.
