Mary Jo Mineau

Mary Jo passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the age of 80.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 22, 1944. She grew up in Hales Corners, Wisconsin and graduated from Whitnall High School in 1962. She met her husband-to-be, Brian, in 1963 and married in 1964. Together they began a life and moved to New Berlin, Wisconsin where they started and raised a family. Mary Jo and Brian celebrated 61 years of marriage in 2025.

Mary Jo was a very kind, positive and caring person who was always willing to help anyone at any time. She was always available to listen to others and help with problems by providing her support and insights. She was a very loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Mary Jo is survived by her husband Brian, son Steve (Christy), grandchildren Autumn and Nora as well as nieces Sarah, Lisa, Paula, Nikki, grand-nieces Ashley, Marisa, Kaylee and grand-nephew Cody. Mary is further survived by brother-in-law Bruce Mineau and sister-in law Nancy Mineau, as well as sister-in-law Cheryl Hansen.

Mary Jo is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Edna (nee Yurk) Hansen, mother and father-in-law Alvin and Elanore Mineau, daughter Michele Mineau, and brother Gary Hansen.

Visitation to be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM, with funeral service to begin at 1:30 PM. Interment at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in New Berlin, Wisconsin.
