(Nee Ark) Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her devoted family on December 5, 2019, at age 70. Beloved wife and best friend of Dave for 48 years. Cherished mother of Valerie (Brad) Stone and Jeanette (Nitish) Bangalore. Loving “Grandma Mary” of Morgan and Mya Stone, and Kiran and Divya Bangalore. Dear sister of Jerry Ark, Pat (Wayne) McMullen, and Ruth (Briahn Kelly-Brennan) Ark. Sister-in-law of Robert Shook, Elizabeth (Ron) Mouradian, Jeff (Deb) Shook, and Judy (Pat) O’Malley. Whether tending to her yard where she loved to watch the deer and birds, doing her embroidery, traveling within the US and to many other countries, or socializing with her friends and neighbors, Mary enjoyed living her life to the fullest. She volunteered for the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, was a member of Badger State Vettes Car Club, and was an active, longtime member of her church. In her earlier years, she was a dedicated Girl Scout Leader to her daughters’ troops. Mary was a kind, gentle, and caring person who revealed her true inner strength during her courageous battle in her final months.
