Words are not enough to express my feelings at hearing of the sudden death of Mary. She was a good friend, one who cared deeply about me and about others. Mary was a woman who believed in justice and fairness and went the extra mile in working to see that the reign of God was established on earth. I believe that Mary is enjoying the fullness of the peace and justice she believed in with God. Mary, you will always be in our hearts as we wait for God to fill the vacuum your exit has created.

To Mary's children, grandchildren and family,
How blessed was Mary. She was a remarkable woman with a noble tenacity of love of her children and grandchildren and family. Mary never ceased in her concern and fight for justice in words and actions. She did not falter in speaking her truth through her knowledge and experiences in life. Mary was wise, seeking the Spirit to guide her.
She has been a friend for nearly 50 years. I miss Mary deeply. Paying heed to her counsel has been a blessing. Mary indeed answered the call to be a blessing in this world..May God's grace abound in her family's hearts.
