Martin “Marty” Kausalik

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 5, 2017 at age 68. Best friend and husband of Margaret “Meg” Kausalik (nee Smiltneek) of 40 years. Amazing Dad of Gretchen “Greta” (Joe) McCool, Kyle Martin (Amber) Kausalik and Madeline “Maddy” Kausalik. Caring grandpa of Luke, Penelope and Amelia McCool and Wesley, Alexia, and Julianna Kausalik. Brother of Frances (Jack) Manley, Barbara (Dennis) Maddy, Edward (Linda) Kausalik, Phillip (Ruth) Kausalik, Mary Beth (Dennis) Kurimski, Kristine Kausalik, Angela (Wally) Wagner and Lawrence Kausalik. Also loved and will be missed by numerous family and friends.

Marty began his career as a craftsman when he was a child building model cars out of a box. Through the years he progressed in his skill by learning aircraft maintenance welding and he supported his family by tool and die welding. He honed his wood working skill in home remodels, progressed to fine cabinetry until he settled his focus on building guitars that each sing with their own voice. In his own way he did the same in the lives of each of the people with whom he interacted. He loved well and will always be well loved.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 3:00 PM – 5:15 PM. Celebration of Life at 5:30 PM.
