Mark Steven Frank, age 72, passed away peacefully on Aug. 9, 2025. A longtime resident of Wauwatosa, he will be remembered for his sharp wit and endearing sense of humor.
Son of the late Glenn and Carolyn Frank, he grew up in Brookfield surrounded by a close-knit family and is survived by his sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Mark flourished academically at Brookfield East High School and soon began his career at Mr. H’s, where he discovered a passion for the grocery business. He built lifelong friendships at the store and also met his former wife. Mark later became a proud entrepreneur, owning and operating two White Hen Pantry franchises in the Milwaukee area.
An avid reader, he maintained a lifelong passion for history, science fiction, and comic books. His remarkable memory and ability to recall details made him both a captivating conversationalist and a reigning trivia champ. He especially treasured time at the family cabin on Lake Wilderness and was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan, faithfully cheering on his team each season.
Family members will honor Mark’s life with a private gathering.
